La Quinta Inn & Suites Summersville / New River National Park

10/10 Excellent
"Room was very clean. Front desk initially thought I had not paid. I showed my confirmation from the booking site I used & all was verified. A variety of pillows (soft & firm) would be nice. Since there were no dispensers in the shower for shampoo, conditioner & body wash, it would be nice to have more than 1 bottle of wash for 2 people (or another bar of soap). Pressure in the shower was intense. Lower the pressure if possible. Breakfast was very good, especially the home fries. So yummy! Staff was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again!"

Hampton Inn Summersville

Hampton Inn Summersville

8/10 Good
"This was the second Hampton Inn I stayed in during my recent trip. Both places, including this one and the one in Hendersonville NC had dogs that were barking near my room. For this hotel I told the staff and they paid a visit or called since the barking stopped. I don't agree with the pet friendly policy, I'm allergic to dogs and cats and the last thing I want to hear is barking while on vacation. Otherwise it was a very nice stay but not sure I will stay at any more Hamptons."
