"Room was small but clean and functional. Dinner and breakfast were very nice. Service could have been a bit quicker. Reception staff were friendly, chatty and welcoming. Bar looked nice but unfortunately didn't have a chance to visit. Location in Oban was very good and central."

"This place is pretty tired and no effort is made to make it look less tired than it is. The staff gives lots of good chat and is perfectly friendly but there was not much substance behind it. The milk I was promised for my room never materialised, room service was left in the hallway all day, etc. ..."
