"Space so limited and the bathroom is a joke"

"I stayed here due to a late airport arrival, expecting a quiet place to rest but unfortunately, that was not the case. My initial room had a continuous high-frequency humming noise that made it impossible to sleep after a long journey. I was moved to a second room, which had the same issue. Only the third room was noticeably quieter and allowed me to rest. When I raised the issue, I was told the hotel is soundproofed. However, the noise was not external, it appeared to come from internal systems (likely ventilation) and was loud and constant. While I appreciate that the staff eventually found a quieter room and offered a complimentary breakfast (which was excellent) my concern was initially dismissed. I was also informed that I was not the first guest to report this issue. This points to a known internal noise problem that is not being properly addressed. If you are sensitive to noise or need reliable rest (especially after a flight) I would strongly recommend confirming room conditions in advance or considering other options. "

"The bathroom was dirty and had a foul smell because it was not cleaned after somebody else checked out. There was a sanitary pad rotting in the bin. We had to call reception at night to remove the bin. Very unfriendly staff too. They work in hospitality and should have a welcoming charater. Breakfast was ok "

"I don’t usually write reviews, but on this occasion I thought I must. This is quite a large, modern and clean hotel. Most media sites advertising this place will tell you that it only has limited parking. This is correct. I counted a total of just 33 parking spots and this number includes 4 maybe 5 spots for EV vehicles, plus another 2 handicap spots. What media advertising sites also fail to tell you is that it will also cost you an additional 15 pounds to park here each night, and that’s if you manage to secure a spot? There is nowhere close to this hotel locally where you can park your car and then walk back to this hotel. My room (although very clean) lacked the usual hotel desk/table & chair that’s normally provided to help you work if using a Laptop or similar?... When asking where the table was? I was delivered a bedside table measuring 2ft x 2ft square, but still received no chair to sit on? My room also had no closet (small wardrobe) with coat hangers like most other hotels for hanging clothes? Instead they had what looked like a piece of chain link fencing screwed to the wall with three coat hangers on it?... I guess they are trying to make the place look a little modern?... Not very useful for people staying for longer periods! I spent two nights here, but only parked and paid (by cash) for my rental vehicle for just one night, plus paid for one morning breakfast -11.95 pounds (I returned the vehicle the very next day to back to the airport). "Property was not up to what was displayed and staff was rude. We had to check out because of the smell in our non smoking room that felt like smoking room,causing an asthma attack on my aunt.we booked 6 days, spent a night and They refused to refund. They were only interested in the money not your safety. They did not leave to expectation. Book at your own risk!!"
