"This was so disappointing. We were so excited to finally check out this water park hotel on the way home from south Carolina and left early to make sure we had plenty of time at the waterpark. When we arrived we checked in and we're excited to head over to the park. We got all dressed and soon found out that literally the only things open in the entire resort were soaky mountain (they did not offer this for free, it would have been $35 a person) and one water coaster. The lazy river was open and a small pool on the roof. We had come early to spend the day at a water park and this was not a water park. There were not even any slides open. Not to mention the fact that when we booked it there was no notice that most everything was closed and also when we checked in no one thought they might want to mention pretty much everything was closed. We would not have spent this money to go here if we would have known this! This was so deceptive. There are plenty of other nice places that would have been much cheaper to stay in pigeon forge or Gatlinburg. We will not be visiting this place again."

"I got cheated by both Expedia and the hotel. After I drove more than 6 hours we found that there is a big renovation in the indoor water park and only 3 things works. When I went to the front disk and I asked why no one mentioned in the website they said it is written in the policy area. I told them we only checking this area to see the timing of check in and check out. And this is an important information they have to write it in the first page. They did not do anything and keep saying they don’t know what I am angry"

"Very quiet, great location ( not in all the chaos of piegon forge, but less than 15 min from it all ) food options close by, pool was great. Right on the river. Room was clean. We were greated by 5 friendly racoons and a cat on the backside of the balcony and to be honest for us was the best part of the stay! Our kids loved them! Beds were comfy! My only complaints were breakfast was not much some muffins and coffee and I would suggest bringing some extra pillows with you. "
