"Very helpful, we were going to be later than anticipated arriving, phoned to let them know, they reassured us it was no problem, everything was ready for our stay. Check-in at the bar was easy, staff showed us to our studio, staff very cheerful. Food in the pub was great, not just pub grub. Only downside, studio was small."

"Well this booking was made on the whole purpose of having a relaxing weekend after running 350km for charity over the past few months. So we booked here for the hot tub and the relevant ease of running a Park Run on the Saturday. After running this Park Run we returned back to the accommodation for our day of in and out of the hot tub. Although this turned out to be turned off so we had an ice bath, not advertised on the website. We then were told that we would get a nights refund for this...

"I asked for help to figure out the air con and then all was good. It was a stressful journey, but the staff couldnt have done more to help me have as relaxing an experience as possible. All very good at their jobs and very friendly, nothing was too much bother. I've often stayed in 5 star hotels in my working life, but now I am retired, finding a reasonably priced hotel which provides high quality customer service was a delight. I had my dog at Wear Referrals for surgery and cancer treatment, its an ideal spot to spend the time waiting for them to be ready to come home. Bed was as good as Premier Inn, lovely shower room, just all round a great choice. Security was reassuring as access to the corridors was by key card only, so no one could come in who wasnt a resident. My only slight gripe was the noise closing doors made with other guests, but thats a very small gripe. "
