"As a solo traveller given a single room, it was an expensive and poor value booking at over 200 Euros. The room had no porthole or window, a small single bed, and there was furniture being scraped across the floor above until 1am. My friends who booked a double room had an altogether different experience, so it really depends on what you book. Otherwise the ship is great - brilliantly restored to its former glory and really interesting to explore; providing a unique hotel experience. The staff were super helpful throughout the ship. The amenities could do with a cafe/coffee shop for just getting tea/coffee. Also, it must be the only place where I've had a buffet breaksfast (which was excellent by the way!), that does not have a toaster!!"

"A clean, well maintained hotel. Rooms are clean well proportioned. Good shower. Location is about 1 mile from the Erasmus Bridge - easily accessible with the metro. Restaurant is European. Good food and good quality. Note if you pay with a card there will be a % added which is a bit annoying. Overall pleased with my stay."

"We checked in early and were given access to the M lounge, which had light snacks, cold and warm, hot drinks, juices, alcoholic beverages. The suites were spacious and had a beautiful view of the city and Centraal station. Daily breakfast was great, we tried the M lounge breakfast the first day, but the regular breakfast at R level was actually better, in terms of variety and selection of menu plates. The staff were consistently helpful and warm. The location was super convenient in terms of bus and train, a short walk to area full of restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend."

"Young guy at check-in was very efficient and helpful....corner studio apartment on the 7th floor was really nice.....great views and plenty of living space.....fittings and equipment are all hi-specification (Allesi...Miele...etc). Location couldn't be better...handy for all the shops and a supermarket, all less than 3 minutes walk from the building entrance. Great feature to have a laundry room in the building which is cheap to use....and you don't need to buy detergent! Definitely will stay there again....oh, nearly forgot, half the daily cost of Citizen M nearby and with 10 times bigger room!!"
