"my first nite of an extensive trip through UK .. and it will be hard to find another property that is as good as this.. dont get me wrong it likely wont suit everyone .. it was built in 1833 and is just wonderful - so full of character - but what makes it memorable is the staff ..couldnt do enough to make you feel welcome and meals (dinner and Breakfast) were both fabulous .. i would be back here in a heartbeat if circumstances allow .. love love loved it"
