"The location is the GOOD part: walking distance from several restaurants, bars, and a shopping center. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. However, it smelled very musty in the room every time we entered it. As a result most of the time we would leave the window open."
"The apartment had a lot of space, a nice kitchen, and was located in a lively area, a short walk to wonderful restaurants, the Duomo, and parks. Lisa was available and super helpful, responsive to our questions. I wish we could have stayed longer, but it was a very comfortable spot to spend one night before a long day of traveling back to the States. "
"Room was extremely clean and spacious. The check in was a little bit of work but the receptionist was on top of it with calling and texting. The only real issue i had is that the building is kind of loud between cars and people. It was hard to sleep. However, the service was top notch, the room was always kept clean and we always had new towels and our bed was always made when we came back from a day of exploring. They even folded the laundry I had out on my bed!"
"Great place to stay in Milan. We booked last minute and had a perfect experience. The apartment was clean, modern, and spacious. The staff was super helpful and easy to work with."

"
Wonderful experience! Spacious room, there were 3 rooms within an apartment being used like a hotel for rental. This seems common in area as the apartment next door was also owned and rented out. We met one very family in hallway. A lovely couple stayed in the room or shared space. We had a accessible little fridge with drinks and counter with some snacks. This was wonderful as we appreciated the water especially during this summer heat. The owners allowed us to enter earlier which we needed as we were exhausted. "
"I wish there was a rating higher than excellent because this hotel would have it. Breakfast spread is larger than most. Excellent options. Nice dinner menu and reasonably priced. Dea was an excellent server. The Cocktail lounge is very nice. Letizia the bartendress makes the most fabulous cocktails, very friendly and cordial along with the Server that works with her. They are outstanding employees. They even have a nice enclosed smoking area where the restaurant and cocktails are on the 6th floor. The rooms are excellent and very clean with refrigerator stocked with free beverages. This hotel is a 200 M walk from Milan train station. Near shopping, metro and buses. I give this hotel an A++++++++++ rating and highly recommend."
"Excellent cleanliness, looks newly built and modern rooms. Bathrooms were too good. Did not eat there as everything is close by. Definitely recommend staying at this place. "
Excelsior Hotel Gallia, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan
10/10 Excellent
"Room 226 has great views over central station. Room size was spacious with all the amenities of chargeable mini bar, slippers, shoe shine etc. very comfortable big bed. Bathroom was well equipped with toiletries, shower cap, vanity pack. There was also plenty of towels too. Rain fall shower head needs changing and it’s very hard and difficult to open the tap for the shower. It was very stiff and had no grip.
Shame during our stay the main restaurant was closed for refurbishment. Breakfast was good with variety but no vegetarian or halal sausages. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to friends and family."
"Beautiful hotel. Family suite was roomy and had a walk out to a personal roof top patio. Wish we would have stayed longer. staff was great and check in was easy."
