"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Garten! The villa was absolutely wonderful — beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and incredibly comfortable. It even had a private pool, which was a great bonus and made our stay feel extra special. It was definitely worth every penny. Although the villa was located a few meters from the main hotel, transportation was never an issue — they provided a shuttle at any time, and all we had to do was send a quick text. Super convenient! We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and it was a highlight of our trip. My husband and kids enjoyed it just as much as I did. The drinks were delicious — we had a Mojito and the Passion Fruit Margarita, both perfectly made. Our kids loved their Blue Lagoon mocktails! To start, we had the Sashimi, which was fresh and flavorful. For the main course, we ordered the Pulpo a la Parrilla, La Gran Mariscada, and Camarones al Curry — every dish was outstanding, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. We loved our experience so much that we ended up booking an extra night. We’re already looking forward to coming back!"

"I stayed in 3 different hotels while visiting El Salvador, and this was by far the best. The staff is friendly and attentive, the pool area is beautiful and clean, the room is spacious and comfortable. Their restaurant on site is good, with the breakfast being the best meal I had. Also, I recommend their massage. Overall would stay here many times again."

"We stayed at Equinoccio for our 1-year wedding anniversary and it was absolutely incredible, so I felt compelled to leave a review. This locally-owned hotel felt like a true boutique experience: the views were amazing, the rooms were clean and had really good A/C and the facility is pristine. The amenities included a restaurant/bar, jet ski/boating, and transportation. One of the most notable things was the above and beyond hospitality. The staff are amazing - welcoming and attentive. We never had to flag anyone down because they always checked on us. It really made us feel special. Further, the manager Carlos was incredible. After a visit to a coffee farm he offered to personally pick us up. He shared the hotel's philosophy on supporting the local community, from the people he hired to the ingredients in the meals. That's something you don't experience often A very nice and welcome surprise was the AMAZING food. Quite literally some of the best authentic Salvadoran food we had while on the trip. They also roast their own coffee and I'm actually drinking a cup of their coffee as I type this. Let me tell you - I don't write reviews often, but Equinnocio is amazing and I hope it remains a staple in the area. Please do yourself the favor and stay here."
