Sonesta Ocean Point All Inclusive, Adults Only Resort
10/10 Excellent
"I am new to traveling abroad. My entire experience at this resort was fantastic from the location which was 5 minutes drive from the airport, to the beach view and my room, to the helpful friendly staff, various pools, restaurants, food variations, different music events and cleanliness of the resort and grounds. The grounds were also well maintained and very eye catching. I found it to be very relaxing and peaceful and the overall vibe of the place was warm and welcoming. Room service and housekeeping were amazing too. I truly can’t think of anything disappointing or negative to share aside from the fact that my time there was too short lol.. I would highly recommend this resort to others. Thank you to all at Sonesta Ocean Point Resort for making my first true vacation away one of my most enjoyable and memorable times in my life. You guys rock!❤️"
"Overall the staff was excellent. Winston was very helpful in getting my room changed out.
Only thing I would like to see area rugs for when the floor is cold. Maybe update the bedding and curtains. But Overall I would stay again."
The Atrium Beach Resort and Spa, an Ascend Collection Resort
8/10 Good
"The room was clean and comfortable. The beach is accessible and clean and nice. Not much to do in the actual hotel but the location is great to get to everything. The one younger woman that works the front desk isn’t so pleasant and you almost feel like you’re a bother to her. But the older woman and young man are pleasant and helpful.
I would recommend it for a stay if you’re an independent traveller and not looking for much amenities in a hotel."
"Have been going to the Flamingo before it was purchased by Hilton. Hilton did a nice job on the rebuild after hurricane Irma. Room was clean except floor always had sand on it. Staff did bare minimum on checkin, checkout. They did not share much information unless asked. On check out they stated we had an outstanding charge from the restaurant. It took some doing but they found the mistake and removed the charge. We never ate there. Was there for 13 days and they serviced the room twice. All they did is give new towels and moved the sand around on the floor. The view from the room was nice. We never ate anywhere at the resort. For a Hilton, I found it somewhat lacking."
