Very convenient location, very close to Plaza- You can eat in many places around. Breakfast is simple, but complete. Rooms in the back can be a bit muggy, while the upper floor ones are nicer. However, you must check that the TV and hot water are working.

Excellent all-around property. Good room, professional staff, close to the Plaza. They store bags/suitcases for you and have a coca tea station in the lobby. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR BELONGINGS!!!
I am unfortunately disappointed in the service at this hotel. I booked through Hotels.com and got a single room with a double bed. Upon check-in, they said the room we reserved was unavailable but would be the following day, and we could move into it at 10 am. I agreed to this, and we stayed in another room. Morning time came; we were all packed up and ready to move to the next room. It wasn’t ready, but I understood the cleaning staff needed to get the room ready, so my partner and I went for a walk to the Plaza; the receptionist said it would be ready by 12. We got back to the hotel, and they said it would be ready right away. We waited, an hour went by, I asked again and still nothing! We didn’t get the room till 2 pm. We wasted our afternoon waiting around the lobby for our room to be ready. On the last day, I checked out and asked if we could leave our bags with them while we went to Machu Picchu; they said they had a storage room and there were cameras. I returned in the evening, and our bags were moved to the front desk, once I got to our new hotel I saw that my white gold earrings were missing and I know I packed them that morning and placed them in their original box. They also did not give us a bag full of clothing items left behind in the room. I had to go ask for it when I asked for my earrings, after I was told that there was nothing left behind in the room.

Cusco hotel stay
We were four and had a great stay. The checkin went very smoothly and the staff were very helpful. They were very helpful and always had great information. They helped us get taxis for our early morning airport run. The breakfast was very nice… and great fried eggs or whatever you. wanted. Great coffee too. The colonial style hotel made the stay memorable to match the Cusco charm. Great value and comfortable…

Disappointed
PROS: location and price CONS: needs update, cleaning staff needs to be better trained (lots of long hairs everywhere) sheets and towels don’t seem to be changed and they rush you to get out of your room to “clean it”. Hot water is easily available in the mornings but in the afternoon you must let water run for 10-15 minutes before warm water comes out. Lobby staff are unfriendly and unwilling to give you details (for example, asked for a late check out, which they have a zero tolerance passed 9am they will charge you half your nightly rate until Noon and then nightly rate passed Noon - we didn’t mind paying the half rate but asked if we could stay until 2pm given we had booked 9 nights with them (last minute trip for the holidays) so they pretended to speak with their manager and still said no, so when I asked for the name of the manager they wouldn’t give it. I asked three different lobby employees for the name of the manager and they all made excuses to avoid giving me a name - so strange, but just made the experience from “you get what you paid for to terrible”

It is not bad to stay and very closed to main market and easy for shopping. There were lots of fine restaurants around as well

Clean & Safe hotel in excellent location
Cusco Plaza Saphy is at an excellent location just 5 min from Plaza de Armas. Area is safe. The rooms are clean with hot water, working wifi, friendly staff and simple buffet breakfast of bread, cereal, fruits, fried eggs, coffee and tea. Breakfast was not fantastic but gives you a warm and adequate start to the day. Coca tea is available all day for self-serve at hotel. Cusco Plaza Saphy has another sister hotel called Cusco Plaza Nazarenas which is on the other corner. We stayed at Nazarenas on the first night and then 3 nights at Saphy. Cusco Plaza Saphy is bigger and I felt it's more comfy. Cusco Plaza Nazarenas is cosy but the room we had was smaller than at Saphy. The down side of this hotel is that the check-out time is at 930am and should you decide to ask for late check out there's a charge. It's a shame they are not flexible with this, and we were there during off peak season with less tourists, so it would have been nice to check out later since our flight was at 2pm. However, they do allow you to leave your luggage in the store after checking out and to collect it later. Check-in is also earlier at 1030am as compared to most other hotels. My family had a pleasant and memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Ok for a quick stop, not for relaxation.
Room had a weird smell and when opening the windows it was to the main area so there was no privacy. It was also very noisy. Hot shower with good pressure and warm comfortable bed. WiFi was ok in room and good in main area.

This hotel is ok, showers are hot. They only supply a bath towel, not hand or foot towels. Staff are friendly and location is great, just a few minutes walk from the main square. Breakfast should be improved.

Nice, good price for its location.
Cuzco Plaza II is a nice looking place with lots of potential to become a much better hotel. Its location, staff (wonderful) are the best . The only complaint I have is: the cleaning person doing the rooms never left towels for us I had to go to the front desk everyday asking for towels. Same thing happen with toilet paper but only a couple of time. The owner should pay attention to this details. Good breakfast. Clean, safe, excellent location. Very nice Staff.

OK, watch out for scams though
One of the hotel receptionists tried to scam us and initially wouldn't let us pay the price we'd booked on Expedia. During the conversation they even took the room price list off the wall (which isn't legal in some countries, not sure about Peru though), we stuck firm though and eventually they allowed us to pay the price we'd booked for. Watch out! The hotel itself was ok, hot water most of the time, no safe in the room though. Fairly cleanish. You'd get a LOT more for your money in most other countries though.

great location
Breakfast is ok if you just want tea and toast. Front desk was helpful. Room was clean but don't expect hangers, even if there's a rod in the "closet." At least bathroom was clean and not moldy like other hotels we stayed in on this trip. Easy walk to main plaza.

God beliggenhed, behagelig seng og god hygiejne. Dejlig varmt vand i bruseren. De tog mange penge for drikkevand, men man kan selv medbringe udefra, og morgenmaden slutter alt for tidligt kl 9. Desuden meget tidligt, at man skal tjekke ud kl 9.30, men de var søde til at opbevare baggage.

A solo 200 metros de Plaza de Armas, unicamente tienen que mejorar el internet en las habitaciones no llega o llega muy poco o se cae, el televisor que es con internet tampoco funciono, deben mejorar enormemente la señal de wi fi .

Deben de entrenar mejor a su personal en servicio al cliente, empezando por las gerencias, deben de informar al cliente en su check in todo sobre sus politicas, la falta de comunicacion no es positiva para ambas partes. Honestamente no volvería a hospedarme en este lugar, pero me parece que pueden mejorar pq el lugar y la ubicacion q tienen es muy buena.

Excelente Servicio
Mi experiencia con este hotel fue muy buena, completamente sobrepasaron mis expectativas, excelente ubicacion, la atencion del personal fue lo mejor, me ayudaron en todo, la relacion costo/beneficio quedo completamente superada Sin problema alguno recomendaria este hotel a mis amigos y con gusto volveria a escogerlo para hospedarme nuevamente.

La construcción ,la habitación y la atención del personal fue lo que mas me gustó .Lo que considero que estuvo algo deficiente fue el desayuno ,como que le faltaron fue unos huevos, salchichas o papas

Bien ubicado. Buen trato.
El hotel se encuentra muy bien ubicado, cercano a la plaza de armas y a la av. del sol, cercano a cafés y restaurantes. El personal muy amable. La gente de cocina muy atenta a los requerimientos.

Buena ubicación, costoso para las instalaciones.
La habitación cuádruple que reservamos no fue respetada, nos enviaron a 2 habitaciones. La chica de recepción tiene un excelente servicio, no así uno de los varones que la atienden en los turnos de la noche; simplemente está ausente, el teléfono cimbraba por las madrugadas sin dejar dormir. Reservamos una noche más debido a la poca disponibilidad, pero había alojamientos de mejor precio e instalaciones cercanos, pedí al chico en turno nos programara un taxi para salir a las 5 am y me dijo que al día siguiente sin problema, pero cuando lo quisimos buscar no estaba en su lugar y tampoco llamó al taxi diciéndome que no se lo había solicitado (llegamos tarde a tomar el autobús). Sin embargo, se agradece guardaran nuestro equipaje hasta nuestro regreso del Machupicchu y el chico de la tarde nos atendió tan amablemente como si siguiéramos alojados.
