We keep the door of the hotel closed like many other hotels around just by security for our guests and the hostel itself. Customers use to get out of the hotel leaving doorways open and computers were stolen because some times customers never mind our own and belongings security, that is why looks like we are extremely rigid. We leave in here and we do have the personnel for the 24 hours service.

Sorry Sam you. Two important aspects about Mamma Cusco Hostel. 1- We never offer wake up service unless the customer will usk for it. You never told us about your need to get out of the hotel either you never said you will get a flight the next morning, when you arrive too late the night before. 2- Usually we open the main doorway at 06:00 am every day. Anyway, we are improving these matters in order to give much better service, but we need communication from our clients.

Good evening Mr. AJ. My dear customer. We are really sorry about your experience you´ve gotten with us. Our accommodation is set in a way of hostel, so we are due to our visitors, who demand service, but the point is that in a bussiness with a low budget mind in order to fit with our customers budget we set fare plans for them, unwinllingly the date yo arrive we couldn´t get hot water because of the local city administration; but anyway we set buckets of hot water for you shower- towel shower- but you guys didn´t like it. You are not concerned to take a towel bath, times when someone is run out of water in the piped showers. About the TV, we usually are set rooms for your rest, and we avoid TV sets in the room unless you ask for it. You have Internet service 24 hours running. About heaters, this is a expensive service for a hostel accommodation service, and this is why we didin´t published that we will give you such service for a backpackers budget either when you guys just paid usd 10.00 night. The electricity system in Cusco is provided by hydroelectric system which so expensive; so if we rent a room for USD 20 night, when you use the heater all night long I woný get enough income to pay the energy service, so that is why we charge you. About the towels I have to say you were right, but now we are renovating this matter, and please still recomending us, because our interest is the person not the big budget arrabgements. De seguro que fuimos explicitos al respecto que en algunas horas tenemos restricciónes de agua y que se suscitan en todas las ciudades.. y la seguridad los establecimientos que estamos un poco desguarnecidos de la seguridad pública aseguramos las entradas y el mismo comunicamos para que los clientes no se molesten al llamar al timbre para salir o entrar como lo hacen muchos otros hosteles y hoteles en el mundo y eso es seguridad para ustedes mismos al igual que para nuestra infraestructura y mobiliario. es solo brindarles seguridad .. en una calle peatonal, tranquila y sin transeuntes y cero vehiculos.... pero como el entorno esta impuesto... a puertas abiertas donde los clientes dejan las puertas abiertas al salir sin importarles y asi tendria problemas de robo... mil disculpas lo superaremos con mejores tarifas. Merci Adrian Ces fantastiques 10 jours avec maman et papa Cusco, étaient spectaculaires. Nous avons pris soin de votre santé, puis nous sommes allés à pied autour de la ville et de montrer les sites historiques et momumentales. Alors vous avez apprécié Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay. Rappelez-vous aussi pasate d'agréables moments à Pisac, Ollantaytambo et Moray Mines de sel et enfin Machu Picchu qui était superbe. Oh, et j'ai oublié le pied de la montagne de sept couleurs ou Rainbow Mountain. merci pour vos commentaires et Joyeux Noël et Nouvel An 2017. :) :) :)
