"I really used to like this hotel as its in a beautiful location. I won't go back unless they buck there ideas up, check in was 4pm, room not ready after driving for 5 hours, no bar open and it's miles away from Inveraray, 5pm given a room key and found out it hadn't been cleaned. Bar opened 5pm my husband got me a drink and manager or owner (he turned up about 16.50 ) said by the time we had the drink our alternative room would be ready. We were not the only ones waiting at least another 5 or 6...

Received a lot of snow our first night and decided to walk down to the little in at the bottom of the Mountain for breakfast which was amazing. The hot tub and fire place were great. "The hotel was 5 star the staff were excellent and polite. Parking was convenient and easy. There was comfortable beds rooms were fantastic and had everything we needed. The views were spectacular this was a very pleasant country house hotel offering a great and unique stay. The only downside side was the lack of variety in the choice of meals in the restaurant."
