"The property in on steep land, but transportation is available 24/7 via golf cart and the staff respond quickly. There are many amenities. First, the concierge staff are top notch. Johansy made sure all of our needs were met and she went above and beyond to do so. For example, when we found out the mini bar service was no longer offered, she helped us order snacks and drinks to be delivered from a grocery store to have in our room. Second, the resort provides its' own guides for the Manuel Antonio National Park. We arranged to have a private tour due to my mobility limitations. We had Clarence Whittaker as our guide, and he was so patient, friendly and helpful, he pushed me in a wheelchair, UPHILL and over gravel and rocks. He was incredible. And of course, he was an excellent, knowledgeable guide. I cannot say enough about him. There is also a free tour of the hotel's own nature reserve, but we didn't go on it. The food at the restaurant is excellent. The included breakfast is very generous. All the wait staff were friendly and attentive. The view is gorgeous and we watched the sun set from the restaurant and Sky Bar every night. We heard howler monkeys and toucans. The drinks were delicious and not overly sweet like in the US. Our room was lovely, comfortable and clean and it had nice amenities too, like delicious coffee, a sitting area, an outdoor sitting area and a luxurious shower with multiple nozzles. The housekeeping staff were wonderful and accommodating."

"Absolutely stunning!! The staff was amazing, amenities, food and location were perfect. They booked excursions for us with local tour companies …again, the best. They were there for any request. The grounds are well maintained and the pools were superb. We will be back!! ❤️"

"Beautiful resort to spend time with family. Vegetarian dinner options were limited at La Casa restaurant and kind of expensive (nevertheless, you have a lot of restaurants outside at La Fortuna, but everything else in the resort was very nice and awesome! Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean, resort is clean, pools, hot springs were great! Excellent resort!! FIVE STARS! We went in December 2025!"

Very cozily decked up for the holidays! The guest service staff were very helpful. They helped us with day tours booking for various activities. Comfortable and luxurious stay. I highly recommend this place. "

"We had an incredible time at Parador Nature Resort and Spa. The property is beautiful and surrounded by wildlife — we saw monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and so much nature right on the grounds. The pool was fantastic, and the hot tub area was extra hot (which we loved after long days exploring). The staff were absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We met so many interesting people from all over the world, which made the experience even more special. Everything is close and easy to access, and the free golf cart shuttle service into town and to Manuel Antonio Park was a huge bonus and very convenient. Drinks were good (a bit pricey, but expected for a resort), and breakfast was wonderful — do not skip the omelet, it’s excellent. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

"Room was good size, had a fridge. Air conditioning worked well. Not good water pressure and water could have been warmer. We enjoyed it here. Monkeys came into the lobby and pool area in the morning it was great. "
