Tivoli Hotel
8/10 Good
"We stayed for 4 nights at the Tivoli hotel. All in all, it was a pleasant stay. We enjoyed the pool, however it did get a little crowded at certain times, nevertheless we still managed to get a good swim. We opted for the breakfast buffet which was just as well as there are no cafes or bakeries in close vicinity. The buffet had varied choices, however, after eating the same breakfast choices for 4 mornings it got a bit dull. They offered exactly the same fruits for the four days we were there. The rooms were adequate in size and comfortable. The hotel is located a little distance from the center of the city. You had to walk a bit or take a bus or metro to where the action is. There is the Copenhagen mall which is a short walk away and you can enjoy the food court or restaurants there. There is also a Lidl supermarket there as well. The main complaint would be our first dinner at the Tivoli Brasserie upon our arrival. The food was disappointing, small in size, overly salty and the price was quite high for what was offered. We did not mind paying those prices had the food been enjoyable!"
The Square
10/10 Excellent
"The Square hotel is excellent in every way. Jamie at check-in and Joselyn's help with a restaurant were impeccable. The location is ideal. The complimentary drinks and snacks were much appreciated. The room was large, the bathroom well-appointed, the bed was very comfy and the balcony a nice bonus. For Copenhagen, it is VERY well priced. I highly recommend!!!"
Clarion Hotel Malmö Live
10/10 Excellent
"I had a great stay at the Malmo live. The room and view can’t be beat. My room came with complimentary breakfast! Definitely a 4 star hotel experience (small note: the wonderfully displayed wine when you first get in, it is part of the mini-bar and not complimentary, I did not take advantage, but just to note). There is a small fridge and/mini-bar. I also visited the 25th floor bar (part of the larger restaurant) which had great views and light cocktails. The hotel also serves as a conference location. There is also another bar, called the Verenda, which I don’t believe was open on Monday. The bed, and view are top-notch! You’ll be tempted to stay in your room or bed all day…If you need a break from wet baths, my bathroom had a glassed in shower, with wonderful shampoos/conditioners. The front desk is very helpful and you can store your bag early if you arrive early for sightseeing. Definitely check out the nearby museums! Highly recommend this hotel for a great experience! I’d stay again."
