"This is an absolutely delightful little hotel with very warm and welcoming hosts, Vicky and Jean Luc, who went well out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time. "Petite étape bien agréable et ressourçante en milieu naturel. Des hôtes charmants et prévenants. La piscine fut la bienvenue en cette période de forte chaleur, et l’absence de clim n’a pas rendu le séjour intolérable. Peut-être envisager un mini frigo pour les boissons fraiches ! 10/10 pour le petit déjeuner sous le tilleul, la literie confortable et les 2 salles de bains."

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was just a short drive to Chatellerault. Difficult to access. Apparently the reception does not open till 5 on a Friday. We understood it opened at 12 every day. Also when we removed the plug to let out a basin of water it flowed all over the floor underneath the basin. There was no air conditioning so it was very hot."

"This was amazing! We were the only guests in the whole place on our one night stay. Lovely refreshments on arrival. Excellent explanation of amenities etc. Breakfast was fabulous as was the room, jacuzzi bath and extremely comfortable bed. Fascinating to read about the history of this Château. There were limited dining options in the nearby town on a Wednesday evening. I wish we'd got a picnic from the nearby intermarche and enjoyed the luxurious surroundings. We'll be back!! Make sure you look in on the chapel which is part of the Château."
