Continental Hotel Budapest

8/10 Good

"From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and informative throughout our stay. Although the rooms were small, they were lovely, with a modern, well-lit bathroom and a large, comfortable bed. The pillow menu was a thoughtful touch, though the shower was too small to move around comfortably. The hotel’s two swimming pools were appealing, although we didn’t have time to use them. Breakfast was another highlight: despite being busy, the staff kept tables clean and available, and the selection, while somewhat limited, was varied and high quality. Special thanks to Tamas, whose kindness and helpfulness made breakfast especially enjoyable. The location was excellent for exploring Budapest, with many attractions within walking distance. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable base in a great location."

Austria Trend Parkhotel Schönbrunn

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice room. I would have thought that the hotel would have had someone to help with luggage though????"

Park Plaza Budapest

8/10 Good

"The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, there were many options for breakfast, the views were spectacular (directly acroos the river from the parlament building). What we loved the most was having a tub to soak in after traveling for 2 weeks..it was heavenly."

IMLAUER Hotel Pitter Salzburg

10/10 Excellent

"Clean, spacious room with pleasant staffs."

ibis Styles Budapest Airport

8/10 Good

"Room was small, but clean and functional, staff was very courteous, professional and polite, the front desk staff was prepped and waiting for us which was especially pleasant. There is no coffee, microwave or fridge in the room, but there is coffee in the lounge. The restaurant was under renovation during our stay, so food options were very limited. A full breakfast is €15!!! There are better options in the airport."

arte Hotel Salzburg

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel was great. Easy location to train station and Altstadt. Upstairs bar was really cool, but understaffed for busy nights and took forever to get a drink. Breakfast was very good."

Danubius Hotel District V

10/10 Excellent

"The property had everything you needed. It was very clean and the staff were brilliant."

Rioca Vienna Posto 2

8/10 Good

"This is a good basic clean hotel, it is a little out of the way but there are nearby trams that take you into the centre. It’s a 30-40 minute walk from the main train station or you can get the number 18 tram. I feel that the kitchen in the pictures is misleading, there is a hob but no utensils to cook with. I stayed in a single room and there were just 2 small side plates, 1 glass, 1 cup and minimal cutlery. The pictures show a coffee machine but there wasn’t one. I was only staying for 2 nights so I didn’t miss having one but if you are a coffee lover be aware of this. The staff were efficient and the area felt safe. There are 2 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk from the hotel"

Aurea Ana Palace by Eurostars Hotel Company

10/10 Excellent

"Staying at the Áurea Ana Palace Hotel feels like stepping into another era — a time of imperial grandeur, timeless elegance, and exquisite European craftsmanship. More than just a five-star hotel, it is a beautiful reminder of Budapest’s Austro-Hungarian heritage, where historic architecture and refined interiors blend effortlessly with modern comfort. Just a short distance from the majestic Danube, the hotel offers more than a luxurious stay — it offers a connection to the history, culture, and romance of this extraordinary city."
