The staff was great, always there to help. However, we didn't have a single decent/good night of sleep because there is people "permanently" staying there, very loud, watching TV very loud and will not turn it off until 5 or 6 am...
I thought the property was very well kept for an older facility and the staff was very friendly. It has been recently remodeled which was nice. I would stay there again.
They are currently remodeling the bathrooms. They look great. Well overdue. Owners are on property all the time. Cleaning staff is friendly. It’s a good hotel for the price. Also in a better area than most on Ridgewood.
Outstanding updated room. Staff provided exceptional service to a very weary traveler, well past midnight. Recommend this for anyone who visits Daytona Beach.
Hotel Review: Red Carpet Inn – Daytona Beach
5 stars — no hesitation. Totally worth it.
The best thing about this place is the location — it’s close to everything. The beach, restaurants, and local attractions are all just a short drive (or even walk) away. On top of that, the room was clean, well-kept, and comfortable. The bed was soft, the AC worked great, and the water pressure in the shower was solid.
If you’re looking for a simple, clean, and conveniently located place to stay in Daytona Beach, this is a solid pick.
Bottom line: Great value. Fully deserves 5 stars.
The front office is run by a very sweet married couple and they are very welcoming and friendly. They gave us a nice room and it was quite large enough comfortably for 4 people, with a fridge and a dining table. Very economical. One of the cheapest places I found even during Bikeweek, where all the hotels were charging over $350 a night, this hotel was under $200. We took our motorcycle trailer and they had a section to park our trailer in a secure area. It is very quiet even with Bikeweek going on, it is very close to Mainstreet but far enough that you don't hear the noise and craziness. Loved this hotel. Definitely will be back again.

A good , reasonable and basic hotel
As a local I am very aware of the South Daytona area and the dangers involved when being around this part of town, I also am aware that these hotels don’t always have the most upstanding guest staying in them. However Red Carpet Inn was clean, quiet , and the lady who was working the night window was helpful quick and friendly for check in. The rate per night is excellent , especially compared to some of the other horrible hotels in the area. I didn’t have a single bug in my room, I had a nice big flat screen , my AC had a clean filter and ice cold air , the room smelled a bit like smoke but it’s a smoking friendly hotel , the bed was well made clean and comfortable and the bathroom was actually nicely decorated and modern. I hope the owners of Red Carpet Inn keep the prices low , and continue providing a clean basic simple hotel , I will be back again . Check in was simple , quick and hassle free as well.

The room is divided into basically 3 sections. A Living/Dining area with one small table, 2 chairs, a small refrigerator and a very small microwave; the bedroom with two night stands and a wall mounted TV; and the bathroom. No coffee maker and there is no continental breakfast so you're on your own there. There is also a reasonably sized closet although no hangers are provided. Take your own shampoo, they only provide soap and towels.
No real issues with cleanliness, room and shower both adequately clean. If you're staying more than one night, housekeeping will ignore your room until you check out.
Parking is straightforward and your parking spot is literally right in front of your room. Place is very well lighted which gives you a feeling of security.
Overall, spartan conditions but no real issues with anything. Would I stay there again? Yes, if they would provide a coffee maker and some coffee packs.
There is an OUTSTANDING Italian restaurant literally within walking distance. That's a serious plus.
Owner has refused on multiple occasions to honor the reservation made on Expedia always asking for cash tips on the side. If you ask to verify room or prices on our reservation he will immediately block the office off and ask you to leave and will not allow you to rent a room. He has a number of women working for him who are very tired haggard And neglected look. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Oh did i mention the used condoms in the microwave and how he solicited my wife and teenage son.

Room dirty pillows.
I guess this is what you get these days for 80.00 per nught
For the price, this place is highway robbery. I’m not one to leave many reviews, but the red carpet inn stood out in a bad way. All of the linens were dingy and stained. The towels looked like they were used to clean a bicycle chain and there were blood stains on one of the bedsheets. The pillowcases looked like they’ve never been washed. Bathroom windowsill had grime and some kind of mystery crumbs that looked like they had been there for some time. The shower was dirty and had body hair from someone else sprinkled throughout. This is a one story hotel but somehow it sounded like we had upstairs neighbors. Paper thin walls. Don’t spend money here. I’ve stayed in Daytona a good many times now and this is the worst motel I’ve experienced.
