"Got on site and had a surprise additional $150 to pay on top of our reservation we booked. Parking is more expensive than the listed $15 per day as well as an extra "resort fee"? Valet is a joke and you can almost not avoid them requiring it from you, basically tried to take the keys out of my hand. Staff were incredibly rude when discussing the miscommunication with booking fee and additional costs. Spoke to me as if I was illiterate and were just very inconsiderate and unkind. Daytona Beach was kind of a dump and there was construction everywhere making it hard and dangerous to walk in and out of the hotel. Will not be going back."

"It’s a little rundown I’m not gonna lie. The staff communication is terrible. I was approved the leave late and treated like I was trying to get something extra for free when I tried to stay until the time I was approved for. I will not be going to another best western when there are many other options to choose from"

"Front desk lady was not very attentive upon checkin. She neglected to inform us of complimentary beach towels that could be checked out at the front desk. She also would not pick up the phone when we attempted to call about 20 times. Never picked it up even after we verified we were calling correctly. The room sign said it was a nonsmoking room and a $50 fee would be charged. The room smelled like smoke and a cigarette butt was on the balcony. A sign in the room also says $50 charge if any of the 16 piece silverware was missing. We only had 10 pieces upon checkin instead of 16. Upon informing the front desk lady of the silverware and cigarette issue, she shrugged it off saying that is a housekeeping issue and not hers. We had to ask her to leave housekeeping a message. Next day, nothing done so had to ask again. "

"I would make sure that if you’re looking for an Ocean view, make sure that they’re giving you an ocean view not a rooftop view like they gave me and make sure they give you food vouchers for everybody. Hopefully they change their staff so they’re not so rude when you’re talking and they talk while you’re talking interrupting you telling you two per room instead of saying something else customer service obviously is not their greatest point. The place looks kind of rundown when you go in the rooms, the doors are warped. Just make sure you get the room that you’re looking for."

"Young lady at the front desk the day of my check in was not pleasant. Very passive attitude not at all welcoming. I called back after my check out to get clarity on she answered without helping and no interest to help with my issue. When I called back she looked into the issue in under a minute which she could’ve done the first time."
