A lovely quiet hotel. A little off the beaten track and not on a main road. So I had a very good night sleep. The building and facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely use it again.

An 11 minute walk to the beach. This property is away from the town, has its own pool. The breakfast was good with outside seating

Simple hotel clean with pool
Hotel was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. The pool is great, but there were no pool towels so we had to drip all the way back to the room

Very nicely situated hotel. In very nice grounds and good parking. Room a little small but no problem for the three nights that we stayed. Space for hanging clothes was not good. No Tea and coffee making facilities In the room which should be standard in any room.

Location was great, staff was awesome. The Wi-Fi only “reached” certain rooms and the beds were rock hard.

Family break
This was our second stay at the Ibis, this time we came with our son and his fiancée. We all love visiting Belguim and I particularly like the ibis as once we arrive I can park the car up and use the local tram. However be aware it does require a brisk ten to fifteen minute walk, so maybe not for the elderly, also if you miss the tram you have to wait another twenty minutes until the next one and the stop is remote. We managed to visit Brugges and Ghent via Blankenberge on the tram and train and De Haan and Oostende by tram.

Good hotel for visiting De Haan
Modern building, nice staff. Beautiful surroundings and easy to get to De Haan from the hotel even if it is not central.

The hotel is nice apart from the price
An expensive hotel surrounded by static caravans which spoil the view. The pizza I ate was tasty and of a reasonable size, which it should have been for €15. Overall I have nothing negative to say, the room was large and clean, the shower was good but the price of the hotel and food is high considering it is in the middle of nowhere and the view is very average.

Enjoyable Short Stay at the Ibis De Haan.
Very clean, tidy, quiet hotel on the edge of De Haan, and close to the Sun Parks holiday complex. About a 10 minute walk through a wooded path to the Zwarte Keizel coastal tram stop which connected to the train for Bruges/Brussels at Blankenberge or Ostend. De Haan centre was about a 20 minute walk away. Good range of Belgian beers and acceptable food, although service was sometimes slow because at times (particularly in the evening), the hotel seemed to have only one member of staff running both the check-in desk and the bar.

Double charged and no refund one month on!
The room itself was ok, but the hotel staff are clearly incompetant and have no idea that an Expedia booking means you have already paid! Paid Expedia for this room prior to arriving and then the hotel charged my credit carf again when I arrived (I had assumed they just wanted the card for authorisation!). I chased them up about this when j returned to the uk and they kept promising they would issue the refund the next day, or defintely refund, but one month on and their is no refund! I am now pursuing this through my credit card compsny to recivdf, which can take up to 8 weeks. In the mean time I am nearly £250 out of pocket! If these people ask for your credit card DO NOT give it to them!

Hotel was fine for the category/price. Room was clean and quiet, AC working well, ample parking spaces, personal friendly and helpful. Food was not great to be honest. For breakfast I missed vegetables e.g. Fruit was provided but bananas were completely green and not edible. Lunch or dinner was mostly just heated pre-prepped meals and priced on the high side for the quality. I personally would have liked more shade around the pool and the garden area.
