"To me this hotel falls under the description as Boutique. The hotel has a genuine vibe that can be felt from the lobby to the pool. Since there was no central PC for use by the guests,I needed to evaluate whether the young vibe offset the traditional stays at places like a Marriot,which has a much more conservative atmosphere.I enjoyed the exuberance of the hotel,but my age said I should be in the other more conservative group. Overall,I recommend this hotel and its excellent location."

"The hotel has a retro 50's vibe, with the lounge being full of unique, eclectic pieces of art and cosy furniture. There are many little areas in the lounge to curl up around the central fireplace or outside to meet with friends, as the atmosphere is welcoming, and homey. The rooms are beautiful, with vibrant colours, and full of essentials. A little nespresso machine with pucks would be a nice addition for that early morning hit of caffeine. There are 13 acres of property for weddings, pickleball and two pools. It's expensive but worth the high quality of experience you get."

Love that this place feels local (because it is) as opposed to being run by some generic corp trying to make you feel as if you're sleeping in the same place regardless whether you're in Baja or Bangor (because it isn't) and that it is kooky (because it can't help it)."
