"Il Van der Valk di Hoorn credo sia l'hotel più efficiente del mondo. Pulito e confortevole. Al 14 piano un'area spa con una piccola piscina, una sauna e una palestra. Colazione a buffet strepitosa. Lontano dal centro raggiungibile in auto o in bici fornite dall'hotel. Ottimo ristorante in cui una sera abbiamo cenato. Se non volete pagare la colazione 21,5 euro ci sono 2 bar, al bar al primo piano c'è anche buon cibo. Nella struttura è presente anche un cinema e un casinò. In camera set di cortesi Rituals e phon, bollitore, macchina del caffè e frigo. Tornerò sicuramente nella mia splendida Hoorn e al Van der Valk. "

"Clean large room with terrace with a great seaview love come back here in the summer for walks and bike riding. Lovely area not been here for over 40 years since I left the Netherlands. Highly recommend this hotel for a longer stay, originally only booked for one night with booked another night straight away. Amazing for water sports. The lofted room would not work well for someone with mobility challenges but worked well for us. Very responsive communication from the hotel! Would happily stay there again. "

"The hotel is tucked away in Bergen, which is a very beautiful little high-end village near Alkmaar, The Netherlands. We stayed only for one night -- 17 hours to be precise -- as part of a larger group gathering. The group dinner was held at the hotel, and it was outstanding and highly recommended. Staff are nice. We had booked a room for two persons. Our room clean and with two windows overlooking a beautiful courtyard, but it was rather small -- about two feet on one side of a queen-size bed and a three-feet-band passage on the other sides -- with rather minimalistic furnishings and space. We had no room and place to put our luggage or unpack the immediate necessities. If we stay there again, we will definitely urge for a larger room. "
