"In the city for a concert and the Dixie Dean was an ideal base for the weekend. We had a 'luxury' room, with two massive beds and the bath was the size of a swimming pool!! The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of selection and regularly stocked up. The waiters didn't stop with topping up coffees and clearing up promptly. High recommended if you're in the city."

"Great hotel in a rather stunning location. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and easy to navigate. The spa facilities were really good with an innovative walkway over the canal. The swimming pool was bigger than average spa pools. Well equipped gym. The location was easily accessible for the city centre and lovely walks along the canal. This area is liberally spread with numerous bars and eateries to suit all palates. Had a wonderful spa weekend with great friends, we all had a brilliant time and said we would recommend and visit again. "

"We had a brilliant 2 night stay with our 18 month old. The facilities were excellent, especially the clean swimming pool and changing rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel was very convenient for transport, shops and dining. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend."

"What a lovely hotel Free upgrade to superior double. Big in size clean beautiful decor. Bed comfortable, slept like a baby. Would recommend Half hour walk into down, £7.00 for a taxi back. Did mot have breakfast so cannot comment on this"

"We had a fabulous one-night stay in this beautiful hotel which has been refurbished to a very high standard and quality. We loved the atrium and original fittings. Our room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. The carpet was a delight to walk on and the towels and bed linen so soft. This was our first visit to Liverpool and the staff were welcoming, polite & helpful. It was my husbands 60th birthday & we were delighted to arrive to an upgraded and decorated room and a plate of delicious small cakes. Nice breakfast choices & a great selection of cocktails! We were able to leave our bags with the concierge until check in time and leave them again for all of the next day after checkout. Parking was very easy & secure, just around the corner. I wish we could have stayed longer & highly recommend this hotel!"

"Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the food was fantastic, my wife had ribeye steak and said it was the best she had ever had, including well known steak houses, so that says a lot."
