"Rosa delle Alpi is an exquisite boutique hotel with large and spacious rooms and only 12 rooms on a very large natural oversized acreage with the most incredible staff. they also have the best chefs and incredible meals for dinner at below market pricing. when we arrived late at the Varenna train station in a pouring rain storm. "Beautiful location with direct views to lake Como and mountains. Just a few yards from shore of the lake which has a pebbly beach. Great for swimming. Some good restaurants around and just across the road from the railway station. Amazing setting! The breakfast (Halal) is really good and sitting in the garden looking at the lake and mountains is bliss! Very helpful staff. It's one of the best 3* hotels we've stayed in."

"We had a fantastic stay here. Breakfast service to our room was amazing. Getting to sit outside in the morning with delicious food taking in the views were a highlight. Giuliano, the driver who shuttled us into Bellagio, was also fantastic. Would highly recommend!"

"Absolutely fantastic hotel to stay. Family of four (2 kids). We were up on the top floor beside the pool (room 202) with a very nice view of the lake. Staff all are very nice and amazing. Breakfast every morning with lake view is an absolute bonus, coffee, croissants, fruits for kids was very helpful to start the day easier. Parking inside was easy and extremely convenient. "Our stay at Hotel Posta was wonderful! Our room and bathroom were perfect and our balcony looked out onto Lake Como - gorgeous! The staff were very friendly and helpful with ferry schedules. The restaurant on property was absolutely delicious - we ate dinner there a couple of nights! And the breakfast (included) was equally good! We would stay again if we ever get back :)"

"Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were very kind and helpful. Be aware of the road if you’re traveling from Lugano - the hotel is located up on the mountain and roads were pretty tight and steep curved turns for about 20-25 minutes."
