"Helen & Matt are first class hosts and The Mill offers a peaceful, relaxed break in beautiful surroundings. As many others have said, breakfast is of hotel quality and freshly cooked to order. For our evening meals we took an easy 11 mile drive to Llandeilo where there were several options. Visiting National Botanic Gardens was easy (once we used a map and ignored SatNag!) and that's an excellent day trip. We rarely visit the same place twice, however, we wouldn't hesitate to return to The Mill...

"For anyone wanting to "get away from it all" this provides a unique opportunity. No phone signal and no internet in the area where the Shepherd huts are situated provides perfect peace. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, and superbly functional, everything you need is here. In an area which is very close to the Beacons National Park, close enough for access and far enough away from the "beaten tourist path" to offer solitude and peace and quiet. "This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back."
