"What a great recently renovated resort tucked away in the pine trees just a short drive to town. With the on-site restaurant/bar, large pool, and outdoor sports facilities you really don't need to leave the property. There are several different room types from hotel-style rooms to cabins. Check it out -- you won't be disappointed."

"You could tell the rooms were older, but maintained. Beds a bit too soft for us, but ok. Pool and corn hole games to play with the family. Only con was they only had 4 bags to toss for 3 separate corn hole games that should have 6 at each. They must get stolen a lot or something. Location is great for walking to the main drag for food and entertainment. Parking was ok until weekend when 2 restaurants that share the parking lot are full and then there were no spots left in the lots for guests. I appreciated the water filling station next to the ice machine as we were there on the weekend that was 105° and we needed to keep hydrated. We were on the third floor in the elevator was on the smaller side but quick so if you need ADA access, they have it for all floors. "

"Pool and staff were awesome. Maid left someone else’s sock in our room, pool speakers blown and static and our bathroom faucet was loose and would shut off by itself. Elevator needs a total overhaul as it looks like a freight elevator"

"We stayed 2 nights as a weekend get-away to celebrate our anniversary. This is a beautifully renovated property in a perfect location within easy walking distance to the town of Idlewild, but still in a fairly quiet location with natural surroundings. The room was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. A wonderful breakfast and a happy hour with wine and snacks are provided. Jenn, who was responsible for setting up these events in the dining area did a fantastic job of assembling a wide variety of delicious treats. Be aware that the remote check-in procedure, which must be done on the day of arrival, can be tricky and that most of the time there is no staff on-site. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again on our next visit to Idlewild."

"I had a frustrating experience with this stay. As a first-time visitor to the area, I expected at least a general location or address ahead of time so I could plan my trip and know where I was heading. Unfortunately, the hosts refused to provide any address until right before check-in at 3PM. While I understand safety and privacy concerns, not giving guests any sense of location in advance makes it very difficult to plan, especially when traveling to an unfamiliar city. It added unnecessary stress trying to figure out logistics last minute. On top of that, they were very strict about the exact time 3PM they would release the address and entry code, with no flexibility or consideration for travel planning. Overall, the lack of communication and transparency took away from the experience. I would recommend future guests clarify these details before booking if having advance information is important to you."
