"Bristol Hotel closed as i found out after booking, however staff contacted me and offered better room right on Baku's richest shopping street (Nizami) owned by same owner as Bristol was, I can not say enough good things about how the staff handled this and how far they went out of way to offer top service! "My check-in didn't happen. I was told there were no available rooms and sent to another (substandard) hotel. Next days I was told my six-day reservation didn't exist. Found later. Management was approved by email a few times for compensation for this kind of treatment but didn't even bother to reply. The hotel itself had many issues... "

"A great hotel situated at the best end of the promenade offering beautiful views of the sea and flame towers (sea view rooms). Breakfast is lavish and the staff go out of their way to accomodate different food choices (we are vegetarians). Only on one day room was not serviced and had to remind them for it."

"I booked a double room with a king size bed,they give me a single room. Horrible facilities,everything is dirt inside the room. Shower doesn't work. "Fawlty Towers is centrally located within easy walking distance of the downtown pedestrian streets and waterfront promenade, but the surrounding neighborhood is a bit sketchy. The surrounding 2 blocks are rather dingy and full of dive bars. The hotel and room are clean. There was air conditioning (a big plus in Baku's heat). The free breakfast is very generous. The staff is nice and very helpful (but occasionally they have someone working who only speaks Azerbaijani and not English or Russian)....

Especialy during our stay 18-22.april.2024 we are very content from: - beds in the room and cleanliness - last two floors are magnificient - personel - we'd like to mention especially: 1) "bell boy" name Azul/Azil ?- aged appr.50-54 years). He was very helpfull on transportation and in the hotel, full with info on the city, always very kind; 2) the waiter in executive floor - name Vugar-? very kind and full with attention the clients: 3) Emil Ibrahimov - guest relation - very helpfull and kind 4) same the young lady in Spa center - very helpfull and kind.
