"Staff are absolutely delightful, can’t do enough for you, I booked 2 small doubles (room was for 1, bed small double, cost was brilliant) bed & pillows/duvet was comfy & I’m fussy about mattresses. The radiator wasn’t on in either room (I think heating was turned off) but radiator was brought to the room & plugged in for when we got back to our room, we had dinner in the restaurant, food was hot & delicious, slept well, had a small cooked breakfast, again delicious. "We had a really lovely night here. We came up to stay for a sports competition. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and made a special effort for us to have an early breakfast. The rooms were fine and clean. The rooms are basic but it's a good price for it. Beds were comfy. We ate in the restaurant, and the food and service was fabulous! Would happily stay again if I was in the area."
