"The resort has great potential or maybe was awesome back in the day. Now it feels a bit run down and the food wasn’t good. The staff was nice but also not too excited to be there either. The rooms were updated and clean but I cannot recommend staying here purely because I think there maybe other wonderful spots on the island. I was really excited to stay here so It was sadly disappointing once we got there. "

"My first time ever travelling to Bohol, stayed here and it was a cute small little place, the rooms were nice but the fans didn’t help the heat honestly, only after a shower would you not sweat to death, they have a bunch of dogs and puppies which were super cute to interact with, very friendly staff and people, and the water was super nice to go into, a nice place but air conditioning would have been a plus! Aside from that, very quiet and relaxing most days!"

"Second time at this resort...first time was great! This time...No bottled water in room, TV was the size of my phone,Food was terrible at restaurant and no toilet sprinkler. Gardens a beautiful...hats off to the gardener! I stay at many hotels in Philippines this one needs to step it up to be a real 8.2/10 A real disappointment...will not go back."

"This place is absolutely terrific. I've stayed there several times, over a spread of about 12 years and have watched it become better and better. This is where you go if you want the exact opposite of Alona Beach, which is only 4 miles away but a thousand miles from the ambience of the Dumaluan - and that's the way I like it."
