"I love staying here, and always do when in Waterloo, but this time it really sucked when a chorus of mowing/leaf blowing started at 6:30 a.m. I was 5 floors up and it still managed to cut through my earplugs, waking me well before I wanted to get up and still going strong when I left my room at 9 a.m.. It would be cool in the future if the football field's worth of grass was maybe mowed later in the day, especially on behalf of your guests for whom 6:30 feels more like 4:30."

"The hotel is always a great place to stay every year while we are there for conference. The only hiccup this year was the WiFi was not working and we were told that construction has cut a line at some point. It had been that way for a while and they could not tell us when it would be fixed. I’m not sure how the casino and hotel operated having to to use our hot spot to work off with not much service for 4 days was little tough but we made it."

"Rooms are very clean, staff is always helpful, Deliscia at the bar is ALWAYS a pleasure to see, she is a wonderful person with a great personality. I stay at this Holiday Inn every time I am in Cedar Falls. The only complaint I have is that this hotel should offer FREE breakfast especially considering the room rates, I have stayed at other hotels around the country that were just as nice that offer complimentary breakfast with your stay and they were better breakfasts than what you charge for at this Holiday Inn."

"When we checked in at 8:00pm there was a line at the check in/registration desk with only one employee at the front desk. We waited approx 30 minutes to check in. The employee was doing a great job but needed assistance. I assume management knew they were going to be crazy busy since the hotel was fully booked/sold out for the night. (Whole Waterloo area was sold out due to 3 large events in town). She did well to keep calm & provided excellent service."
