"Strange room with small door and steps. The pitched roof impeeds your head room. The kettle lead was fixed to the kettle, get an extension lead,,,,,had to crawl to the socket to plug ot in, then crawl to get it out again. Well at least it was exciting. "

"The hotel was lovely but - regrettably - it was hosting a large wedding and reception on the first of our two nights' stay. They hadn't warned us, yet we were given a room adjacent to the thoroughfare from the reception venue. As a consequence, we had little sleep on our first night at all. The guests in the adjacent room had a spat at a little after midnight over who one of them had been dancing with (and how)! When that ended, we were woken again at about 1:45 am by a group arguing outside who had stopped en route to their rooms; I got up to chase them.off. we them struggled to sleep afterwards . I explained the situation to the manager and staff who offered a potential discount to be discussed when next we booked. We won't be rebooking."
