"Unfortunately not many redeeming qualities here. Room was very dated, and in need of some repair! The water from thexshower trickled out like it was being powered by a hamster on a wheel. The room was cold becasue of the single glazing, and the heating not on. The single glazing doesnt help the road noise either. Staff were all very friendly and helpful at this very busy time of year (Christmas lunches and dinners) Many customers supported this inn which included a great local clientele. Log burners in bar area kept the place warm. Furnishings were all old and part of its charm is that nothing matches !
