"1. We needed late check-in and Josh was responsive, the process was easy.
2. AC was very cold but adjustable, shower pressure decent, water heated quickly, firm pillows and mattress, and fridge was larger than most hotel fridges and included an ice tray sized freezer (could probably stand a defrost though).
3. Lastly we highly recommend walking across the street for breakfast and lunch at the Maywood Grill. And drive 15 min to the non-descript Pappy's Takeout. So many regulars streamed in to dine upstairs (great view, bar, and wait staff service). We ate more casually downstairs and let Keisha take care of us. Gotta try the chicken fingers.
We only stayed 2 nights but would check the Chalk Inn first if I need to be in the area again!"
