"Property is very rundown in the halls. Carpet needs to be replaced. Bathtubs need to be replaced. The price they charged is what Marriott charges in the USA. This place at best is maybe 31/2 star. Staff is very friendly and courteous. "

The Oberoi Cecil, Shimla
The Oberoi Cecil, ShimlaShimla
10/10 Excellent
We stayed at Oberoi, Dubai and were blown over by the exceptional stay & I have been a Oberoi patron since.
While planning our trip to Shimla my brother recommended Cecil. Being a Oberoi property I did not hesitate to book a one night stay for our anniversary! On check-in the staff members greeted us with the warmest welcome & the GM personally came to congratulate us. We have stayed at hotels world over, but I would rate the staff courtesy here as one of the best ever.
The hotel...
