"Our stay at the Quinta was pleasant. The room was neat, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide range of options. However, the only issue we encountered was the clogged bathtub. The water retained while showering was unpleasant. This was the only problem we had with the hotel. "

"So the place is pet friendly which is good for people like me that like to travel with my dogs. But honestly it was barely clean enough for my dogs. The beds were clean. The sheets were clean. The towels were cleaned but the floor was horrible. Didn't even want to take my shoes off hated using the sink because it was gross and so was the tub. And the people that were staying there were like homeless people just didn't feel safe and didn't sleep well. Wondering if the room was that dirty? Am I going to have bed bugs? But there were no bed bugs and check in was weird. They used a kiosk which didn't work. So I normally don't give reviews like this, but I was pretty shocked because I've stayed in motel 6's and never had this situation, especially in a small town like Effingham Illinois. I was there for a funeral which was stressing enough and then to feel like I couldn't even relax because of the people smoking pot being drunk coming and going and the filth I guess you would say it was not very accommodating."

"Needed to request a change from my first floor room upon arrival as it had a terrible musty odor. Front desk was understanding and moved me to second floor which was brighter and fresher. Good green space for dog. Convenient location to town. WiFi was fine. Breakfast basically coffee and nothing hot."
