"The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant is truly original with the biggest " cheese dome" in the world. The big problem I had was that the rooms are not equipped with a mini bar which is a must at any time of the year but more so during a heat wave. I was upgraded to a room with a tiny fridge and no alcohol in it. There was no vending machine either. The underground parking is very convenient with a direct elevator to the reception area."

"This is more like a nice hostel. It was clean and quite spacious given typical European sizes, but my room had a dorm vibe. It felt like student accommodation, but it was fine and cheaper than other places. Had air-conditioning too which was great. Just not at all fancy."

"One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Architecturally splendid, and a true 5 star hotel. The service was impeccable and the dinner and breakfast were elegant and well done. A great hotel for a romantic few days or a family outing. If you are driving, it is about 50 min from Fountainebleu and 25 minutes from Chartre."

"beucoup de moustiques qui genent c´est pour cela qu´on a annule notre sejour au camping sans meme y psser une nuit. on a demande l´annulation sur place sans aucune reponse positive et le pire que le camping a retrancher la somme de 6 jours. dans le pire des cas d´annulation il faut au max prendre 30%.??? "Wow!! What can I say? What a beautiful charming B&B. I have to admit, I was curious/concerned about such an old facility but given the recent renovation/remodel, job well done. Everything has been updated, (fixtures, windows, etc). The owner is extremely welcoming and accomodating. Not a day goes by, now that we're home, that we miss waking up at Le Clocher de la Duchesse. The breakfast was absolutely perfect and just what we needed to start our day. Can't rave enough about it. Very quiet and...
