"A little bit of an older hotel, but very nice regardless. Location was amazing. Rooms were big. If parking is full, they have very reasonable alternatives nearby. Depending on when you go, parking at these alternatives are extremely cheap!"

"L'équipe a été super efficace je suis arrivé mon train est arrivé tot et à 9h le matin une chambre était prete et je n'ai pas eu a attendre 16h Enregistrement trés rapide chambre et salle de bain clean et meme cuisine si vous demeurez longtemps déjeuner trés bien pour un continental et pour le prix rapport qualité prix meilleur que bien des hotel trés dispendieux"

"Pay 40 bucks for parking and no in and out privileges??!! Ya ok….. I haven’t woken up sore and tired from a hard bed in a long time. There was a hair in the tub. The pictures on line are deceiving. Clearly a renovated apartment building. Actual keys to open the door to the room. It is a budget hotel for sure. Location is great. Balcony is great. The place ain’t no Hilton that’s for sure. I do regret staying. The place felt unclean. Can’t believe how hard the bed was. Couldnt control the temperature difference between the bed room and living area. Woke up sweating . Very uncomfortable. Pool area changing is so dated. The tile grout black. I feel rip off …….. Sorry "

"May 19-22 2026. Uninhabitable: 30°C Rooms, Hotel-Wide AC Failure, and Phantom Management I checked into the Wyndham Gatineau-Ottawa at 9:30 PM on May 19, 2026, only to be casually informed upon arrival that the entire building's HVAC system had failed. I was handed the keys to a room sitting at an entirely unacceptable 30°C, with sealed, unopenable windows. Given the late hour and lack of alternative accommodations, we had no choice but to accept a cheap fan and endure a suffocating, sleepless night. The infrastructure failure is bad enough, but the customer service the following morning was appalling. The front desk attendant was dismissive, entirely unhelpful, and had the audacity to offer an insulting 25% discount for a fundamentally uninhabitable room. When I rightfully requested a full refund for the remaining 2 nights and requested to speak with the manager, I was completely stonewalled. I was told the manager would be in "later"—with absolutely no timeframe provided—and the desk refused to commit to any guarantee of a refund. I was prepared to move to another hotel, but I needed my refund first. As a Level 7 Google Local Guide who has reviewed countless establishments, this ranks among the most egregious displays of poor management and zero accountability I have ever encountered. The property is failing to provide the bare minimum of a safe, climate-controlled room, and the staff is actively dodging responsibility rather than making it right. Do not stay here!"
