"We spent two very enjoyable days at this very special lodge. Our host Issabella was first class and looked after us as if we were family.The whole place is beautiful and the bird life is prolific.There are two very lovely guest lodges and a fun safari tent with its own out side toilet and shower facilities.You must phone before you arrive as the gate will have have to be opened for you and then there is a track drive to the main lodge and a further couple of kms to the guest lodges. "It's a long way down the dirt track to Tonteldoos, the bar is a bikers haven with a small collection of classic bikes. Location is really isolated and pretty, goats and peaches all around. House was far bigger than we needed and a kind of 1980s throwback, Eight of us rattled around in it. Host very friendly, highly recommended if you like this sort of thing. We were random tourists in a low clearance hire car, so the last 20 km was slow!"

"the place with FILHY, the blankets and duvets were old, dirty and threadbare, The pillows were smelly and yellow. The windows could not be closed.. The pots were so old and disgusting. The place was infested with cokroaches, frogs and mosquitoes. My staff are still sick from their stay at this place. It is a self catering place but it was so disgusting that you could not even consider cooking there"

"Check in was bad and the welcome not good due to us booking on hotels.com and the manager did not know how to claim the free nights I had and booked for it. Then she tried to tell us we had to pay and later came to sort of apologize but just not a good reception Management is really bad at your property and the place is going backwards as no one sees to it that things get repaired in the cabins or that cleanlines is maintained.
