"Very cool and funky hotel in a great location, with amazing views over the water. Great sized room we had with a separate living room. Parking was the only downside as it’s very limited and hard to get close to the hotel. And no lift which made getting out bags up and down narrow stairs quite challenging. We would definitely stay there again. "

"Traditional hotel. Rooms could do with updating but on the whole a nice hotel with lots of traditional features of a hotel with so much history. Conveniently situated in a quiet area but still only a 5 minute walk from all Harrogate has to offer. "

"Wonderful hotel from the beautiful facade and wonderful welcome from friendly staff to the beautiful, clean well appointed room. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was excellent. We were bowled over as we brought our two dogs and are used to getting dingy yet to be updated rooms. Here the dogs were welcomed with a biscuit and the room supplied dog beds, bowls and toys. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was very good and the again service was faultless. Very convenient to the town centre but unfortunately we didn’t have time to explore. We will be back!"

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel for 2 nights with my 2 dogs. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. It was a comfortable and pleasant experience, and I’d happily stay again"

"The room wasn't quite how we expected based on the picture provided at point of booking, but was ok. The bed was on the former side but reasonably comfortable, as we're the pillows. The spa facilities were excellent and and well maintained. Breakfast was also excellent and staff were well presented (if a little inexperienced, save for the Maitre D). Staff providing room service was very polite & delivered our room service exactly on the time requested. Overall, quite possibly our favourite UK hotel so far."
