"The cottage was lovely, in a nice quiet and quaint area. Every little touch has been well thought out, the bedrooms are comfortable and the whole place is so relaxing, the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
Emma was really communicative and instructions to the property are very easy to follow. Would definitely stay here again "
"We had a great one-night stay, the building had tons of character and the room was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended! "
"A comfortable cottage with all necessary amenities, including a wood burning stove and plenty fuel. Located in a small village near a friendly pub. Village shop is only open half days but Leyburn with a range of shops and places to eat is only 4 miles. Great area for walking"
"We arrived and welcomed by staff, it is a qaint little pub with a great atmosphere, very central location, free parking in market square, outside pub.also pay and display nearby. Room was great for our 1 night stay, tv, kettle, toiletries. Breakfast was included, a lovely continental choice and cooked breakfast, we enjoyed our stay and wouls recommend"
"This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...

"River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too. Beds are well made and comfortable and the bathrooms have everything you need from shampoo and conditioner to hand soap. Highly recommend a stay here, it’s a shame we couldn’t have stayed longer, it’s an excellent base to explore the area from."

"Fantastic find. Lovely views. We were blessed with new born lambs to watch. It's quiet apart from a variety of bird song, lovely. Each pod is labelled and has a discrete fencing/ stone wall for privacy. The hut itself was clean and in great condition and a good temperature. Perfect size for a couple. There is a double sofa bed for 2 more, but that would be extremely cosy. Kitchen area is fine for self catering. Don't bring too much as the fridge is small, but it does have a tiny ice box for ice blocks and ice cubes. There's a little hob in the cupboard which was handy, and a microwave. If you do plan cooking, note the microwave doesn't have an oven feature. Bathroom is a nice size.
Hosts were friendly and responded quickly when we'd misread the instructions so wondered which pod we were in - oops. They added a birthday banner and balloon for my partner's birthday, plus bottle of prosecco and toblerone bar - lovely touch.
Finding the place was a little tricky as we headed up from Malham, so was heading from Hawes towards Leyburn - the instructions were from the other direction lol. We got there though. There's a nice parking area with electric charger if you have an electric car.
Overall, an excellent stay and we plan to go back. "
