The resort is built on a hill however a golf cart is always available to take you to the top part. We found it easier leaving and entering to use the bottom entrance. Would highly recommend "

"We loved our stay at Samplangan Penida Resort. The resort was beautiful, the infinity pool had exceptional views, and Ogi and her team were outstanding in making sure that we were well looked after in every respect. We had a total of 6 meals at the resort and everything was delicious. Even when the entire village had a blackout, the chef was able to prepare a really wonderful dinner for us. If you're thinking of visiting Nusa Penida, Samplangan Penida Resort IS the best place to stay. Period. "
