"The hotel and private car park is next to the old town so it’s perfect for wandering around Salers. The reception and restaurant staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful. Our room on the first floor was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Tea, coffee and a kettle was provided in the room. The bathroom was clean and modern. The shower was very good and there was plenty of hot water. The dining menu was very good, offering local dishes prepared to a high standard and the table...

"Parking was full so had to leave on the road with lots of wedding bits inside. Hotel ok but tired. Room basic. No water or tea facility. Restaurant overpriced and under whelming. I had a local dish. Local Sausage and mash. Basic sausage and mash tasted like smash. Dried potatoes. Felt a bit money grabbing. "

"This little known gem, situated about 10 minutes from Egletons on the D16, in the delightfully rural Correze, is well worth a visit. If it’s peace, calm and tranquility you seek - this is it. Relatively unknown to the English (we were the first English to stay here) it’s well worth a visit. The hosts are very welcoming and speak English. The facilities are superb - we just wish we could have stayed longer!"
