"We have a group who have met annually in the Dalles, OR. For the last 2 years we have stayed at Cousin's. Cousin's has been in operation for many decades. As with all things it has aged and the rooms, especially the bathrooms, show it. While the rooms are relatively clean and the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms sinks and tubs drain very slowly and water backs up. The tubs are very worn and do not look very nice. The restaurant is somewhat famous and the food is good. We did eat there every day. Staff are exceptionally nice and friendly. You can also eat in the bar which is nice and a bit homey. As a group we will likely stay somewhere else next year but probably will still eat there."
