"Property is located about 13 minutes from All Star Village. Moderate your expectations…this property is excellent for its price point. No frills, but it’s clean, friendly and will service your turn when you take your boys to ASV and surrounding areas. 30 minutes from the Hall of Fame, 25 minutes for Brewery Ommegang (ask for Shiloh, unique microbrews are for u). Dude knows his stuff. Walmart is walking distance, Dick’s is in the same plaza for your all star who forgot even after you told him. The local Starbucks (1.5 miles) is hit or miss. First time I’ve been to Starbucks and they were sold out of all blended drinks and most coffee drinks. Plan accordingly!!! Continental Breakfast is available…stick with the waffles and the meats. Eggs, not so much. Boiled eggs, get there early and there’s cereal. Your kids will love it and you’ll enjoy watching them love it. Lots of food options within three miles and an ice cream shop seemingly on every block. If you order food, understand that salt is exotic spice in this region and plan accordingly. However, the local Italian and Pizzeria were worth it. If your trip to Cooperstown is straining your budget, this is a clean safe place to stay and it’s close enough for your family to enjoy the full experience. Not my favorite but acceptable."
