"The hotel was a very convenient place to stay, just a short drive from the town. The room was clean and comfortable, but a little warm at night. The shower was powerful and warm. Staff we talked to were very helpful. Breakfast was good. I especially enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice - squeezed by myself!"

"What a find! The reviews said that some rooms were a bit tired and the food is good with generous portions. So I thought I’d take a chance. It was good value especially compared to accommodation in Spain, where I had just been. The room was excellent - one of the largest rooms that I’ve stayed in. Food really was superb - really well cooked and generous portions. I was able to park my motorbike in a locked compound which has also has a security camera. The spa had Turkish and Swedish saunas, a small pool and an area to lounge around - great at the end of the day after enjoying the roads. The Portuguese roads!!! Wonderful bends and (in March) very few people on the roads. And great value. What’s not to like? All I can say, is what a find – thoroughly recommended. "

"Really cute town, with a selection of restaurants to choose from. It felt very tranquil and calm and the accomodation was huge, we had accidentally booked a 2 bed apartment for two of us but it was affordable and a great stay!"
