"The hotel was what was to be expected for the price and location. It was clean, sheets were clean, no insects. Very old hotel but i felt safe. Wasn't a 5 star but I was comfortable with it."

"Great location for visiting Galveston. On Seawall BLVD almost across the street from the Pleasure Pier. Walkable to many restaurants and bars along the seawall. Just a 5 minute drive to the Strand and downtown. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Facility is a little dated. Staff had a hard time keeping breakfast stocked on weekend mornings. Policy is to only clean rooms every three days unless specifically requested. We had to remind them to clean on the third day. Overall a good experience and we would go back again."
