Before we even arrived, I was pleasantly met with one of the most accommodating, caring and genuinely nice people I have ever met. Xavier is a jack of all trades and a master host!! We arrived to find out we had been given the penthouse, and the views of the city are truly incredible. I could write an essay on the shower alone because it was magnificent. The whole room was perfect.
Every part of this beautiful home has been crafted and designed with care, without taking away from the charm of the original structure. Every detail, down to. The porcelain light switches, feels like love was poured into it, because it was. This is a family run bed & breakfast.
Anne-Marie greeted us with a fantastic breakfast every morning of our stay, complete with homemade family jams & yogurt, breads, homemade far breton, and locally roasted coffee. It is like no other hotel I’ve experienced. the whole family is just the sweetest, and they have put their souls into this place. you’re making a huge mistake if you stay anywhere else while you’re in Dinan!! Thank you again for everything!!!

We stayed in this absolutely stunning recently renovated manor for 3 nights in September. The owners did a truly magnificent job in the restoration with no expense spared.
We chose the Jeanne MalIvel room because of the high ceilings and beautiful decorations and couldn't have been happier. It felt like a 5 star hotel with the quality of the renovation (tub, tile, fixtures, linens, custom handmade glass etc.), excellent products and amenities (just remember to bring your own conditioner and lotion as most places in France don't provide).
Breakfast was spectacular (amazing croissants from a local bakery as well as home made sweets). Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming.
Parking is included (4-5 minute walk from the property). It's a little complicated but excellent directions are provided.
The property is only a 1-2 minute walk to the historical center and is located on a beautiful park with great views.
We will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful newly renovated property in fantasy like walled city of Dinan. Immaculate wonderfully decorated rooms and thoughtful hosts. In addition to exploring Dinan we walked along the water to another very old and interesting town, Léhon. We highly recommend Clos du Cèdre!
