"This barn conversion is quite spacious, including a large entrance hall downstairs where you can leave wet and muddy gear if you get soaked in the rain like we did. The decor is a little tired in places, but overall it is a clean and comfortable place to stay. We appreciated there not being an additional fee for bringing a dog. The location is good, just a short walk from the centre of Dolgellau, with plenty to do in the local area. However, the map pin we were sent directed us to the north side...

"Llety Nest is a semi-detached cottage on a working farm. It is in a picturesque qnd quiet area, and while not in a town, not far to drive for shops etc. The Cottage had a fully equipped kitchen including a slow cooker, stove top, microwave, dishwasher and full oven. The washing machine and dryer were very welcome. The lounge room was also well equipped with free Netflix, and the cottage had good wifi and TV signals. The bed is a double, but comfy. Everything you’d need. Local shop, coffee shop, pub’s, restaurants and a tiny petrol station all within the same high street that’s less than a mile long. Great value for money 🌟"

"This is a fabulous place to stay right by Swallow falls. The rooms were very spacious, bed huge, shower amazing and set at perfect temperature. Also you don't often get conditioner in the shower/bathroom, I did here which made a nice change, I usually have to take my own. The food was very reasonably priced and delicious with a good choice on the menu. Staff very friendly, special shout out to Zoe who made us feel very welcome when we got there and throughout the stay. Lovely decor on the inside like an old coach house, would highly recommend staying here"

"Very nice spot to set up your base while exploring north wales. As a word of caution: its very convenient location to the bus and train service is a huge plus, but the actual train and bus service in this region is quite unreliable. I was able to make due but there were a few times I had to wait upwards of 2-3 hours for trains to return back to betwy y coed after a long hike so you may want to consider renting a car if you're exploring many parts of the region, but it is still very accessible via public transit if that is your only option. The hotels food was actually very good and balanced and I always looked forward to eating there for a reasonable price after a long day"

Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening."
