"Charming little property with very friendly staff and great food. Beach area unfortunately not as well maintained (not all umbrellas working, sun lounger always full of sticky sand). Overall great experience."

Think & Retro Cafe Lipa Noi Samui

3.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (16)
"great location, right the beach, with very nice views. The hotel is funky (the rooms are old ship containers for example), but confortable, clean and extremely friendly. The restaurant within the hotel serves good Thai food at ridiculously low prices, and the tables are directly on the beach (your feet in the sand, under the trees). I stayed there quite a few times, and thought it was quite a good deal."

"Overall a very nice place, we had a front side bungalow that was located directly to the beach that probably was part of our positive experience. Friendly and positive staff. Not many restaurants around the hotel so you need to get a ride or hire a scooter to get around."

Anahata Resort Samui

3.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (87)
"This is our 4th time in this hotel, but last time was several years ago so there are many improvements- the rooms has been modernised, new restaurant menu, new area with swimming pool, a gym and Thai boxing added, and a spa. But the main character of the property is maintained- being a very relaxed, beautiful seaside hotel. All staff are extremely helpful and friendly too, no ask too big. We will be back again soon, thank you xx"

Kanok Buri Resort

4.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (132)
"An amazing hotel. Just got back from a 10 day stay at Kanok Buri and i highly reccomend this hotel. The staff are so lovely, funny and helpful. The private beach is so convenient and the pool is gorgeous. Food is lovely too. Its on Lipa Noi, west side of Koh Samui which is quieter than the East but this is what i wanted. Beautiful grounds with exotic trees, koi fish in ponds and its so easy to book a 'grab' taxi to go to places around the island so transport is not an issue, loads of gorgeous of...

Lipa Bay Resort

3.5 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (91)
"Large rooms, basic and clean.
Family
operated, very friendly and very accommodating. Not sure what to see in the area as we were only staying the night to catch the ferry in the morning. Not really walking distance to anything. Great food at the restaurant and provided transportation to ferry in the morning for a small fee. I recommend and would stay again. "

Rajapruek Samui Resort

3.5 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (108)
"Based on what I paid which was close to $150 a night I would have expected more modern room and a better breakfast buffet but otherwise the place was clean with friendly staff and located right on the beach. The step over from the tub shower to the floor is non-standard height (higher than normal) so be prepared if you have shorter legs or mobility issues. "
