We had one quick night and arrived late by bicycle. Not being able to read Chinese or speak much we took a moment to be certain we were in the right spot and found everyone helpful and friendly. We had to show our booking email which was both in English and Chinese to get things started but after that we were shown our room, and then were upgraded on the spot (though we were quite happy with the original and would have gladly taken it). With only a very basic vocabulary I was able to find out about breakfast and the staff was easy to talk to, encouraging me to try to speak Chinese but also understanding most of my English. The area was beautiful and comes recommended by the locals. The locals are friendly as we were invited to join some for dinner earlier. Breakfast was mainly traditional Chinese with a brief tutorial from our chef! Internet worked well and was of a quality to support VoIP/Skype. We enjoyed our stay greatly and I hope to return.
